Data protection and how we use your data
The club uses an electronic contact management system to provide a database of contacts for emailing purposes. We do this to comply with the law and allow people the opportunity to remove themselves from our contact list, a link for which will be provided on every email generated by the contact management system. No information from the contact management system will be sold or otherwise provided to a third party. Information held in the contact management system will be used to keep you informed on club activities and may be used by the club for marketing purposes.
The contact management system holds information in the following categories:

Members - members of the club

Potential members - those who have completed a beginners course but not yet joined

Beginner HaG - those who have expressed an interest in attending a course

Subscribers - those who have not yet expressed an interest in attending a course but wish to be kept informed of club activities
Some personal data about you is held electronically by the club within a contact management system. This is limited to:

In addition, the contact management system will record when you first send a request to gain access to the members section of the website and the date of your last visit.
Your personal information is safeguarded and will not be provided to any third party from the contact management system. The committee members with access to the contact management system are:

Secretary - access to email information to send emails

Membership Officer - access to email information to send emails

Coaching Officer - access to email information to send emails
Every email sent from the contact management system will have an unsubscribe link, you can use this link to remove yourself entirely from the website records, however this also means that you will not be able to log into the members section of the site.
Further information on members is held separately outside the contact management system and is supplied to Archery GB, the County and the Region for membership purposes. It is not sold or otherwise provided to any other third party.
The club will accept electronic payments via PayPal, as part of this process we will be provided with personal information which will be held in accordance with this policy.
