MEMBERSHIP

The two routes to joining NPA are either via a NPA Beginners Course or as an experienced archer.

Please note, the cost of membership does not include a Beginners course.
Your must either have a beginners certificate or 
have been cleared by our Head Coach before joining

MEMBERSHIP TYPE

“Full Adults” are members 25 and over on 30th September before the club year starts (the club year runs from 1st October to 30th September).

“Associates” are people who pay their Archery GB Fees through another club or directly.

“Honorary Life Members” have their fees paid by the club in recognition of their contribution to archery.

 

“Disabled” applies to members who self declare that they are disabled.

 

“Adults 18-24” means adults who are under 25 on 30th September before the club year starts (the club year runs from 1st October to 30th September).

 

“Associates 18-24” are people who are under 25 on 30th September before the club year starts (the club year runs from 1st October to 30th September) and who pay their Archery GB Fees through another club or directly.

 

“Juniors” means people who are under 18 on 30th September before the club year starts (the club year runs from 1st October to 30th September).

MEMBERSHIP FEES

The different classes of membership are explained above.

Membership is in two parts, the payment to the club and the money we collect on behalf of Archery GB and the Buckinghamshire Archery Association.

 

Our club year starts in October and all fees are calculated to the end of September. You can pay in a single payment or monthly, if you choose monthly then all the external fees are collected in advance as thats the way we have to pay them. Your payment to Archery GB covers you for personal liability when shooting at the club, at sanctioned competitions and at other shooting sites affiliated to Archery GB, for example our local archery shops.

MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS

The Archery year starts 1 October. All renewals must be in place as prior to this date so we can send the details to AGB on 1 October and ensure everyone is insured and can continue to shoot.

 

If you are renewing multiple members, you can make a single payment but please confirm who you are renewing for in an email to membership@newportpagnellarchers.co.uk.

Membership is made up of affiliation fees to AGB, SCAS and BAA which must be paid up front and Club fees, which can be paid monthly. The affiliation fees include the insurance for you to shoot.
