USING THIS WEBSITE

This is a short guide to using the Newport Pagnell Archers Website.

NPA started meeting in the Ram pub, the ram's head is still our logo.  The logo appears on every page and by clicking on it you will be taken to the HOME page

The HOME and ABOUT pages contain a banner slideshow at the top, this provides easy access to promoted areas of the site, for example to join or book a beginners course and occasionally some important messages the club wants to pass on

Under that is a link for people who want to subscribe for information but not join or take a course.  We keep lists of members and subscribers.  Subscribers are people who have asked to be kept informed but are not yet members.  If you are a member you are automatically subscribed

The next section is a feed from our facebook page, then an about section, where we shoot and finally contact details.  The contact form is for general enquiries to the secretary and specific enquiries to the webmaster, for example to report an error on the website, to request an upload link for photos to be added to the member's gallery or to report inappropriate content.

The NEWS section will contain all our current and archived newsletters, you will find messages from the secretary here and may find coaching or website newsletters as well

JOIN US is a section for people to apply for membership or book a course.  We will be using PayPal to take payments through the website.

LEARNING ARCHERY is the section with lots of media content.  We have beginners diagrams, a selection of videos from YouTube, links to handicap tables and a 'Guide to Target Archery'

USEFUL RESOURCES has access to the Archery GB News Feed, its Competition Calendar and rules.  There is also a link to Buckinghamshire Archery Association, AGB and WA rounds and printable scoresheets.  We have a section here on DOCUMENTS AND MANUALS, this is general information and includes, for example, the latest Easton Catalogue with spine charts, the Easton Tuning Guide, the Hoyt catalogue and various manuals for risers and sights.  Finally, this section contains a link to local and national archery shops, with our local stores highlighted by their embedded websites
